Appearance-
until she was twelve years old, abigail wasn't even remotely close to the height she is now: five foot three. by the time she was fourteen years old, most of her female friends had outgrown her, overtaking her height by several inches (at least). however, abigail soon turned out to be more than content with her height seeing as it gave her the ability to wear heels without surpassing the height of most of the males whom she would come across. until she was about fourteen (the age she was when she first began attending heathington), all that mattered was her height. that worry, however, is disappeared.
she's not the biggest fan of heels, though, unless they are worn for a special occasion -- like a gala or formal ceremony. during spring, abigail is most fond of either wearing rain boots or boots that come up to her ankles. actually, abigail just enjoys wearing boots of any kind on almost any occasion. with a mother who is a former fashion model, abigail receives many (well chosen) designer shoes on holidays and her birthday. also courtesy of her mother formerly being a fashion model is abigail's vintage designer clothing, including her favorite red burberry vintage coat -- which she is almost always seen wearing it during the winter season. in her mother's closets are some of the most beautiful designer treasures anyone could find.
anastasia, abigail's mother, has always fussed over abigail's golden blonde locks of hair. "you're not allowed to cut it short," anastasia ordered abigail at the young age of eight years old. "it must always be at least two inches below shoulder level when put down from a ponytail." but why would an eight-year-old girl care about her hair when she could be watching the very good-looking ten-year-old boys who lived just down the street play futbol (although then, she knew it more commonly as soccer)?
reaching puberty at an early age was only bothersome to abigail. when she was eleven, her chest was almost fully developed. but, to her mother's dismay, abigail wasn't the type of girl who would put on makeup, wear dresses, and sit tight. she was the type of girl who would go out in her pretty, frilly sunday dress to go "play with the big boys" until it was dark and time to come home. "what a shame," abigail would usually comment sarcastically to her mother when she fussed over abigail's dress, never meaning it any time she said those three words. she wasn't sorry about the dresses; why would she be? she enjoyed getting down and dirty with the boys. always have, always will, if you know what i mean.
now, she is a "blonde bombshell". her teeth have finally straightened (thank you, invisalign), her golden blonde hair is nice and long and full of locks (courtesy of her mother's words), and she knows what clothes do and do not accent her. she's ready to take on the world with these looks.
Personality-
abigail is a hopeless romantic who has the tendency to picture herself in either audrey hepburn films or another fifties classic. more often than not does she put herself in the position of fictional character gracious, beautiful holly golightly, who she sees as someone who can easily turn awkward situations into lasting friendships while still holding a certain type of mystery to her. when put in a situation she doesn't know how to handle, abigail stands (or sits) up straight, picturing herself as audrey hepburn in one of her films. instead of the question "what would jesus do?" abigail asks herself "what would audrey do?"
she sees her life as a movie, and places different people into different roles. the lead man, she hopes, is allister stephen stratford. abigail sees her lead man as her own prince charming, the hero. "he's my dean moriarity and i am sal paradise," she often hopes, in reference to on the road. although dean moriarity may not seem like a hero to most who hear or read about him, he is a hero in sal's eyes. that's how abigail sees allister, she only hopes it's true. the antagonists are charlotte sommers and destiny purcell, although neither of them will win this battle. in abigail's movie, her puppy allister eats both of them alive. but of course, the best friend roles go to four different people: aimee aldred, jane barlow, paige paxton, and carly washburn. those four people, however different, make abigail who she is and put her where she ends up. whatever those four decide helps abigail proceed in her journey. she is corny when it comes to the film of her life.
one thing she hates the most is admitting that she was at fault. if it's something small or humorous like "oh, i spilled my coffee on you" or "bloody hell, my scarf just flew in your face", abigail is willing to laugh at herself. however, if it's something like "i thought you were cheating on me for five minutes, but then i realized i was wrong and refused to admit it", it would take something as big as drugs to make abigail confront her own persona. if ever told "i told you so", abigail would probably get defensive immediately, even if she knew that "i told you so" was said for a good reason. she is very stubborn, especially growing up as an only child, having it only go her way rather than anyone else's. if abigail is talked into something, it usually has to benefit her first before she accepts or does anything. when cash kennedy was in a pickle with aimee aldred, one of abigail's best friends, abigail made sure that there was something in it for her before doing anything. although she stands for "doing the right thing", she isn't sure whether it's a facade or not. for the most part, abigail can't "do the right thing" unless there's something in it for her.
abigail is completely into trying new things, including drugs. she gets easily addicted to things, so although it may be unhealthy for her, it's fun while it lasts. once she gets into something and begins enjoying it, it's almost impossible for her to stop -- even something like weed, which is completely nonaddictive. although she may be hesitant at first, it doesn't take much to talk her into trying something new. that's how she began to drink: when she was a year seven, abigail was introduced to alcohol. at first, she was hesitant, thinking "oh, f**k, what will i do," but after a few minutes of sweet-talking, abigail was as drunk as anything.
lately, abigail has gotten into the habit of lying. she's been trying to convince herself that she isn't lying, but instead "stretching the truth", but as she lies more and more, she realizes that her life is one big lie. she has been lying about how she feels, what she thinks, and most importantly: abigail has been lying to herself about whether or not she's in love with allister. on most days, she tells herself that she isn't in love with him, but lately she has been realizing that he just may be the lead man in the movie that is her life. right. abigail sees her life as an everlasting romance film, which will end perfectly and the way she wants it to end. she will have her lead man by her side, to greet her at the end of every broadway play she will be doing in the future.
among lying, abigail has gotten into more bad habits (thank you, scarlett scandal). she had begun to bite her lip, to the point where it unattractively gets cuts and bleeds. when nervous, abigail tends to play with her hair, twisting each golden lock into a curl after curl after curl on her pointer finger. although it isn't a bad habit that she recently acquired, abigail has never been a neat person. she leaves things on her dormitory floor and never gets around to picking up after herself. although it must drive her roommates insane, abigail never cares enough to ask. it isn't like she's spreading filth on their side of the room. just her side. and their bathroom. and the entrance hallway to their dorm.
like any other person, she is very self-conscious. when a new rumor goes around about her, all she wants is to stay in the comfort of her dormitory, avoiding those stares of people who seem to think they know her private, personal life. instead, she forces herself to hold her head high, pretending that both a) the rumors aren't true and b) they bother her. even if one or the other is false (or, in the more common occasion, both are false). but with that self-consciousness also comes the tendency to become judgmental over people. when she doesn't feel like someone is either a) helping her towards any of her goals, b) being a good friend, or c) just being plain annoying, abigail will speak her mind. she tries not to hide her feelings for people and fully expects the same from others, although she doesn't go about advertising that fact.
but of course, she still knows how to have a good time. abigail is a metaphorical social butterfly. without hesitation, abigail will usually talk to anyone. when in a room full of unfamiliar people, abigail will immediately see reason in changing that. she will talk to anyone who strikes her interest, or anyone who would take the effort to make conversation with her as well. once, abigail had dialed the wrong number, making a friend out of the whole ordeal. unfortunately she doesn't keep in contact with nina from new york anymore, but for a while they had a good friendship where they would keep in touch often. since she was introduced to alcohol in year seven, abigail has been a party girl -- however young she may have been. since puberty, she had found a strong attachment towards males -- both mentally and sexually. during her first year at heathington, abigail would find herself drunk and in bed with countless different boys men. before she had began to date allister, she didn't even have to be drunk to find herself in bed with a random bloke.
now, abigail just lives the party lifestyle. although she may act like the sweeter and more kind elite, she can be very manipulative, using many people to her advantage. she's very subtle about everything she does, though. if she is using someone to only fit her advantage, no one but her knows about it. it is rare that she is ever "caught red-handed" or "caught in the act". but, when she does make a real friend, she plans on being friends for like. just like most of any other person, abigail cares about her friends and their opinions and how they feel about certain things. if a friend is in need of someone to talk to, or even just listen, abigail is there for them, ready to listen with a litre of ice cream by her side.
History-
craig and anastasia stanton had their first and only child on the third of february in 1992. she was born in new york city, at exactly 1:23 on that chilly sunday morning. although abigail leigh stanton, their new baby girl, was more of a surprise than planned, craig and anastasia vowed to dedicate their time to their precious newborn angel. of course, growing up as the first and only child for both craig and anastasia called for focusing all the attention on abigail. that was what started her yearning for attention and the centre stage. the new parents gave their daughter everything she wanted and asked for, spoiling her senseless.
all of the attention that had been previously focused on abigail as an infant turned out to be bad news for abigail's social habits. quickly, the five-year-old girl was uncomfortable in kindergarten, unable to get the attention she not only wanted, but basically required. although craig and anastasia wanted their child to have more attention, craig's parents talked them into withdrawing abigail from her kindergarten class; something had to be done about abigail's whiny and attention-seeking attitude.
while growing up, abigail met and grew close to many of her father's business associates' daughters and sons. she loved being able to play and spend time with people who didn't go to her school -- especially the girls. even as a young girl, abigail wasn't exactly liked by many of the girls in her classes, so it was nice to have at least a few girl friends outside of school. on school campus, though, abigail chose to simply socialize with the boys, becoming "one of the guys" very quickly. thus began her habit to want to get "down and dirty".
at the age of nine, abigail was considered nothing less of a metaphorical social butterfly. her parents had just moved to hertfordshire in london. the nine-year-old socialite did whatever she could for attention, and to her liking, the london girls were much more accepting than the girls back in new york. that was the beginning of abigail's love for the city of london. at the young age of eleven, abigail's chest nearly fully developed over the course of six months. boys were beginning to notice her more. not that they didn't before, but this time they were giving her a different kind of attention. this time, they didn't see abigail as "one of the guys". for a lack of a better expression, abigail liked all the attention she was receiving. she had been an attention sleeper since infancy and her moving to london and going through puberty wasn't going to change that.
suddenly, her new girl friends -- who she had just been so close to those past two years -- were beginning to resent abigail for the attention she was receiving, although she had no idea as to why. it was almost like a deja vu from new york city, and everything from childhood was beginning to come back to abigail. although confused and completely hurt, abigail shrugged it off. it wasn't like she minded being with the boys all the time. she was enjoying the positive attention she was receiving from them. there was one in particular with whom she became close, and his name was paul ringo sullivan. abigail had known him since she was nine -- when she first moved to london -- and they had hit it off well. he was the one who really stuck by abigail. he convinced her that everything was going to be alright and the girls were just jealous of her. when abigail was eleven, she thought she was in love with him, but that love slowly faded as she became more and more interested in other males -- hormones.
when she was fourteen, both abigail and paul both received invitations to heathington, academy of the arts. abigail had been in school plays before and paul had began playing for their school's band, but everything right then seemed to fall into place. immediately, they both showed each of their parents the invitation letters. before they both knew it, abigail and paul were standing in front of the main entrance of the academy for one of the most important days: the first one. without hesitation, abigail knew what she wanted to be: an actress. the first class she signed up for was acting for the stage, and the second, a vocal class. abigail's dreams were then to become an actress back in new york, on broadway. but, more specifically, abigail somehow knew that she would be starring in the tony award winning broadway musical. she was going to be that actress who thespians worldwide admired. it was perfect; abigail would be able to do something which she enjoyed doing, with people watching her and admiring her from afar.
abigail's first year at heathington was mostly spent drinking at euphoria and parties, hooking up with random guys -- no strings attached. in fact, soon it was only natural for abigail to go to euphoria almost every weekend, drink, and have sex. eventually, abigail wouldn't need to get drunk; she would just sleep with any random bloke at her leisure. things changed when she began dating cash kennedy. although they had dated for a while, they both realized that they were so much better off as friends. although it was awkward between them those first few months, they're as close as ever now.
aimee aldred was the person who introduced abigail to most of everyone she knows now as her best friends: jane barlow, cash kennedy, allister stratford, jude makepeace. she had heard of all the drama abigail was causing (abigail didn't exactly get along with most of the heathington female population), began searching for this "abigail girl", found her, and approached her; somehow, they immediately hit it off, becoming the closest of friends. things haven't changed between those two, other than the fact that aimee is a bit on the chubbo side, now.
on allister's birthday (29 august 2007), he asked abigail to be his girlfriend. this was after months of flings and one night stands which abigail (at first) thought to be meaningless with no strings attached. she, too, had feelings for him, but wasn't sure if she could trust him. allister had previously cheated on many of the girls -- if not all -- that he had dated, and abigail didn't want to be the next one. after a long talk, they both decided that he would be a changed bloke. things were perfect, until recently, rumors have been spreading about allister messing about with destiny purcell. abigail doesn't know what to do or believe. is he her lead man of the movie she calls her life?
now, though, abigail isn't so hostile to every girl she meets. she tries her best to be interesting and motivated to talk. somehow, she is changing for the better, but in other ways, she is changing for the worse.
Then her stupid old parents transferred her to East Wood High School...

She was relieved that he had agreed. If she was feeling cold from the water soaked through the front of her dress, she had no idea how he must be feeling. She flashed him an encouraging smile and squeezed his hand, as they wormed their way through the crowd. She knew their destination before they reached it. They went downstairs to the lower deack and searched the doors for rooms. She could hear giggling and other sounds coming from a few rooms they passed. She nearly walked into Tristan as she stopped in front of one of the rooms. He knocked, waited and then entered, her trailing behind. She smiled as she saw the room at hand. It was gorgeous. A king size bed lay in the middle of the far wall with a big bathroom to the side. She caught sight of the hot tub and her smile widened. They would probably make good use of that.
Her eyes sparkled as she watched him slowly undress. She had seen him naked many times before, but it was till a pleasurable experience. He was so hot. She watched him watching her and her smile faded. Her eyes were still bright as they locked with his. She could practically see his thought process and her mind was racing. She moved closer to him, her hand falling on his belt. She began playing with it for a moment, looking up at him. She smiled again before undoing the belt and pulling it loose from his pants. She looked at him again before she quickly undid his pants and slid down the sip. She pushed them down his hips and into a pile on the floor. He was standing half naked in front of her and she was still fully dressed. She planned to stay that way at least for a little.
Her fingers were dancing over his damp chest as her eyes continued to stare into the depths of his brown eyes. She'd never get sick of them. She always found some part of his she didn't know, some new part that fascinated her. She placed a gentle kiss on his neck, directly under his jaw. She moved closer to him so there was barely an inch between him. She was still processing the fact that she was only one who could have him like this now. He was hers and hers alone. It was a strange feeling, one she could get used to quickly. "I love you." She had said it less than five minutes ago, yet she felt she would never get enough of saying. To know she loved someone who loved her back was the best feeling she would ever experience.

abigail's first year at heathington was mostly spent drinking at euphoria and parties, hooking up with random guys -- no strings attached. in fact, soon it was only natural for abigail to go to euphoria almost every weekend, drink, and have sex. eventually, abigail wouldn't need to get drunk; she would just sleep with any random bloke at her leisure. things changed when she began dating cash kennedy. although they had dated for a while, they both realized that they were so much better off as friends. although it was awkward between them those first few months, they're as close as ever now.
aimee aldred was the person who introduced abigail to most of everyone she knows now as her best friends: jane barlow, cash kennedy, allister stratford, jude makepeace. she had heard of all the drama abigail was causing (abigail didn't exactly get along with most of the heathington female population), began searching for this "abigail girl", found her, and approached her; somehow, they immediately hit it off, becoming the closest of friends. things haven't changed between those two, other than the fact that aimee is a bit on the chubbo side, now.
on allister's birthday (29 august 2007), he asked abigail to be his girlfriend. this was after months of flings and one night stands which abigail (at first) thought to be meaningless with no strings attached. she, too, had feelings for him, but wasn't sure if she could trust him. allister had previously cheated on many of the girls -- if not all -- that he had dated, and abigail didn't want to be the next one. after a long talk, they both decided that he would be a changed bloke. things were perfect, until recently, rumors have been spreading about allister messing about with destiny purcell. abigail doesn't know what to do or believe. is he her lead man of the movie she calls her life?
now, though, abigail isn't so hostile to every girl she meets. she tries her best to be interesting and motivated to talk. somehow, she is changing for the better, but in other ways, she is changing for the worse.
